dc915The first thing you notice is dirt. Do you fly? Are you some sort of incredible gymnast, ninja, or otherwise superpowered? Too bad! Everyone has the luxury of receiving a face full of dirt as they're spat inelegantly onto the ground below.
Once you look up to how you got here, you'll see what can only be described as a portal, hovering in mid-air. It's an incandescent display of grey-purple and some unexplainable colour you've never seen in your life, and whether it's magical or technological in nature is an utter mystery.
What is clear is that as quick as it spat you out, it closed again, leaving you stranded somewhere that could honestly be a lot worse.
Welcome to El Paso. It's not always peaceful, but it's certainly no Gotham, and the world is well used to inter-dimensional refugees.
Oh, but there's just one tiny detail... the portal spat out a giant, evidently homicidal robot before closing up. Deal with that before figuring out where the hell you've wound up, and the much less easy to figure out how.
